Performance and Range
The Ford Mustang Mach-E earns its pony car designation with engaging driving dynamics and potent propulsion options. Princeton shoppers can select from various configurations based on the drivetrain (RWD or dual-motor AWD), battery size (standard or extended-range), and trim level. Here's a quick overview.1
- Select: The Mustang Mach-E's well-equipped base trim is motivated by a rear-wheel-driving motor and a 70-kWh "Standard" battery, giving it 266 horsepower, 317 pound-feet of torque, and an EPA-estimated 247 miles of range. All-wheel-drive models generate 428 pound-feet of torque while achieving an EPA-rated 224 miles of range.
- California Route 1: This single-configuration trim provides an appealing mix of performance and range. It utilizes a dual-motor AWD powertrain and a 91-kWh "Extended-Range" battery to deliver 346 horsepower, 428 pound-feet of torque, and an impressive 312 miles of EPA-rated range.
- Premium: With the 70-kWh battery, power and range figures are equivalent to the Select trim. However, upgrading battery capacity to 91-kWh increases RWD horsepower (290) and estimated range (303 miles). Extended-Range AWD models achieve 346 horsepower, 428 pound-feet of torque, and an EPA-estimated 290 miles of range.
- GT: Are you seeking maximum EV exhilaration for your Hillsborough drives? The high-powered Mustang Mach-E GT delivers with a thrilling 480 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque. EPA-estimated range is ~270 miles.
Ford Mustang Mach-E Charging
With the Ford Mobile Charger and a 240V outlet, the Ford Mustang Mach-E can add ~20 miles of range per hour and charge from empty to full in about 15 hours. The available Ford Connected Charge Station adds ~28 miles of range per hour for faster at-home charging, reducing the time needed for a full charge to around 11 hours.
For longer journeys, the Ford Mustang Mach-E can plug into a DC fast-charging station to add 59 miles of range in just 10 minutes, replenishing its battery from 10% to 80% in ~45 minutes. Every Mach-E purchase includes a 250-kWh fast-charging credit on the Electrify America network.
